Lounging (Day 7)

Friday was a day for lounging, and not much else (besides a bike ride to the vegetable farm). It's nice when you have a "home base" and time to do this, without feeling guilty that you're missing out on seeing the next big site. We've really enjoyed making ourselves at home and getting to know our immediate surroundings (the house, the neighborhood, the town, etc). Town (Vevey) is about 15 minutes by car down the mountain, and so we don't want to make too many trips, but it is no punishment to be home-bound here. The house is beautiful, the yard is large and private, and the view is stellar. Here are a few shots from our day.

These are the mountains across the lake in France.

POOL TIME!!! Lucia's favorite activity of the day. (She has been a great traveler and very patient with her Mommy & Daddy, dragging her around to many a boring spot. It's been nice to be able to treat her with some daily splash time.)

The bike ride to the veggie farm. You can't see it here, but I'm sweating like a pig. Bike riding in Switzerland is difficult at best, but then with a trailer with 2 kiddies inside, it's a whole new ball game. I guess it's good for working off all that cheese and chocolate!

Hey Harders!
I'm just loving your pictures... your camera is great! I can't get over how big Elias has gotten... both he and Lucia are just adorable. It's fun to read (and see pictures) about your adventures! ~ Jen T.
